How Mokam Kartu works
Mokam Kartu is a tool for tracking shared-subscription payments. All money moves directly between members — we are not a payment institution and never hold your funds.
Step 1 · Create a plan
Enter the subscription name (for example "Netflix Premium"), the total monthly amount in euros, and your monthly date (1–28). The equal per-person share is calculated automatically across you and your active members.
Step 2 · Invite members
Add up to five members by email — you're the sixth, and the host pays a share too. Each member receives an invite with their share and monthly date. Different members can have different monthly dates, which is handy when people get paid on different schedules.
Step 3 · Set up payment methods
In Payment methods, add how members can transfer to you: a revolut.me username, IBAN with recipient name, or a phone number (Revolut, Wise, or any bank app). Set once — applies to every plan you host. Stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM.
Step 4 · A reminder goes out on the monthly date
On each member's monthly date the system creates a pending payment and emails them with their share, a payment link, and bank transfer reference where relevant. Nothing is auto-charged — the member decides when and how to pay.
Step 5 · Confirm funds received
When the member transfers the money they tap "Mark as paid" in the email; you confirm the funds arrived. If a payment is late the system sends a gentle reminder automatically. The full payment history is visible on the plan page.
Limits
One plan holds up to six people (host + 5 members). The monthly date is 1–28 to avoid month-end ambiguity. Currency is EUR. Supported payment methods today: Revolut, bank transfer, and phone-number payments.
