Terms of Service

Last updated · 2026-05-10

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Mokam Kartu ("Kartu", the "Service"), operated by MB "Moku programuoti", registered in Lithuania (the "Company", "we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Kartu is a tool for tracking shared subscription plans (e.g. a family Spotify or Netflix subscription) among a small group. It records each member's monthly billing day and helps the plan owner request payment from members.

Kartu is not a payment processor. Kartu does not hold, transfer, or process funds. It generates payment instructions and links (Revolut deep links, IBAN transfer details, phone-number prompts) which the member uses to pay the plan owner directly through their own banking or payment app. The plan owner manually marks payments as received.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Kartu. By using the Service you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Your account

You sign in with Google via Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for any activity under your Kartu account. Notify us promptly at maksim@mokuprogramuoti.lt if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Plans, members, and payments

  • A plan owner creates a plan and adds members by email. Members are invited and become active when they sign in to Kartu with the invited email.
  • The owner is responsible for the accuracy of the plan total, the per-member billing day, and the payment methods they configure.
  • Members are responsible for paying their share to the owner through the chosen payment method on or after their monthly billing day.
  • Kartu does not arbitrate disputes between owners and members about whether a payment was actually made. The owner manually marks payments as paid.

5. Fees

The Service is currently provided free of charge. We may introduce fees in the future; if we do, we will give reasonable advance notice and will not charge you retroactively.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to comply with the Acceptable Use Policy. Violation may result in suspension or termination of your account.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, its source code (where not open-source), branding, and content are owned by the Company or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. Content you submit (plan names, member emails, payment-method details) remains yours; you grant us a license to host and process it solely to operate the Service.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting maksim@mokuprogramuoti.lt. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, abuse of the Service, or as required by law. Upon termination we will delete your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data will be preserved indefinitely.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company's total liability to you in connection with the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you have paid to us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) EUR 50. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from a payment you made or did not make to a plan owner or member.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of Lithuania, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence requires otherwise.

EU residents may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.

14. Card payments via Stripe

Plan owners may connect a Stripe account to enable automatic card payments from members. Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Limited) processes these payments and acts as the merchant of record on the owner's behalf. By connecting Stripe, the owner agrees to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement and the Stripe Services Agreement. By saving a card, the member authorises the owner (via Kartu and Stripe) to charge the agreed amount on each anniversary date until cancellation. Disputes, refunds and tax obligations are the owner's responsibility; Kartu facilitates payment but does not hold member funds.
